BCSO Narcotics Unit arrests several on drug charges

The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Vice-Narcotics Unit has arrested several locals on drug charges, according to a news release.

Brandon McMillon Bragg, 38, of Wilmington was arrested for selling and delivering drugs in the county. He is charged with two counts of PWIMSD heroin, selling/delivering heroin, PWIMSD cocaine, maintaining a vehicle used for keeping and selling heroin and cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Agents were able to arrest Bragg Thursday evening after a month long investigation. Bragg was pulled over and arrested on Highway 17 while he was headed into the county to sell drugs he had purchased in Little River, S.C., according to the release.

“I want to make it clear, we will not allow anyone to come into our county and attempt to sell this poison on our streets. Make no mistake, we are watching the county lines, both north and south; you will be caught and you will be arrested,” said Sheriff Ingram.

Bragg was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $250,000 bond.

Six others were arrested on various drug charges, following a month long investigation from community tips and a search of a residence in Shallotte.

Two of those were local to our area, according to the release.

Kalamison Hill, 29, of Longs was chared with PWISD cocaine, PWIMSD SCH IV CS and PWISD marijuana. He too was processed into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where he remains under a $30,000 bond.

Herschel Greene, 37, of Conway, is charged with PWISD cocaine, simple possession SCH II CS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being detained in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $10,000 bond.
