911 calls show desperate efforts to get help for 5 year old Dillon girl killed in shooting
Dillon, S.C. (WPDE) —
911 calls into Dillon County E-911 communications this past Saturday morning show desperate attempts by callers to get help for three people shot on Lester Road in Dillon, including the deadly shooting of five-year-old Perla Azucena Banueloss Allenda.
Little Perla was asleep in her bed when a bullet came through a wall and struck the child.
Deputies said someone was shooting at a party in the neighborhood.
Two others were also shot. No word on their conditions.
A woman called 911 for help for one of the people when she learned the child had been shot.
Here's an excerpt from the woman's 911 call.
Someone got shot over across the street too. I need help. I need help. I need help. Someone across the road got shot too. The police is over there. Oh my God, a baby got shot. The police is over there. The police is over there.
Lakeisha Martin, 24, is charged with attempted murder for shooting one of the victims, but she's not charged in the five-year-old's death, according to Captain Cliff Arnette with the Dillon County Sheriff's Office.
Arnette said they're continuing to gather information to determine who was shooting and who shot the little girl.
