4 hospitalized in head-on crash in Georgetown County

Four people were sent to the hospital after a head-on collision Wednesday morning in Georgetown County.

South Carolina Highway Patrol, Georgetown County Fire and Horry County Fire-Rescue were called to the scene around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The call reported the crash in the 8500 block of North Fraser Street near Choppee Road.

Cpl. Sonny Collins says four people were taken to Grand Strand Medical Center in the head-on crash.

No further details on those involved nor the extent of their injuries were immediately made available.
