New app allows users to report underage drinking

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH)-- In the digital world, new apps are made daily. Now there is a new app to help fight underage drinking.

LARADAC has partnered with Crimestoppers and the 5th and 11th Circuit Alcohol Enforcement teams to make it easier for people to report underage drinking violations.

The app campaign targets efforts to stop minors from buying or drinking well as stop the businesses from selling them to minors.

App users can anonymously alert law enforcement of illegal alcohol consumption or selling all in the palm of their hand.

April and May are considered to be high-risk months for youth because of prom and graduation.
