After a LeBron James mural was vandalized a few weeks ago in Los Angeles, a new design has been created that displays James looking up at Lakers greats Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O' Neal, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Wilt Chamberlain.

James signed a 4-year, $154 million contract with the Lakers once the July NBA free agency period began.

To celebrate the three-time champion's arrival, an artist created a fantastic mural of James that featured the words "The King of LA."

Some fans took offense to the mural, and it was vandalized several times. One person was caught on video tossing paint on it.

The four-time NBA MVP's management agency, Klutch Sports Group, tweeted an announcement of his signing with the Lakers.

James left the Cleveland Cavaliers for a second time after leading them to the NBA finals last season. The Cavs were swept by the Golden State Warriors in the championship.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist previously left the Cavs in 2010 to join the Miami Heat and won two titles.

James returned to Cleveland several years later and delivered a championship to the Cavs after he led the team back from an improbable 3-1 deficit to defeat the Warriors in 2016.

Cleveland's win ended the city's 52-year title drought.

James finished last season with 27.5 points, 9.1 assists, and 8.6 rebounds per game, according to ESPN.
