HGTC hosts culinary job and internship fair to help students network
Myrtle Beach, S.C. (WPDE) —
Students and alumni of Horry Georgetown Technical College are ready to get to work.
They had the opportunity to meet with more than 30 employers at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach today.
One student is preparing to graduate in May of 2019 and is looking for internship opportunities to learn the most he can.
"You want to do better and you got all these people out here to try to help better yourself and help you learn what they know and just do good for the community," said Tahja Washington, of Myrtle Beach.
The day wasn't just for students to network, the potential employers got a tour of the campus to see how the students are learning and what tools they're using.
