Weekend stays hot and humid with a few storms possible

Your weekend forecast begins with a typical Summer forecast with plenty of heat and humidity. High pressure remains North today and gradually pushes off of the East Coast over the weekend. Temps will reach the upper 80s to mid 90s, but factor in the humidity and it will feel like the 100s for many locations. A pop up afternoon or evening shower or storms can't be ruled out, but most locations will be dry. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!

A cold front approaching the Southeast late this weekend will stall out to our West early next week. Rain chances will increase with scattered showers and storms for Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will be down a few degrees from the previous days, but the humidity will stay high.

The tropics are quiet for now. Get the latest tropical updates during hurricane season at our Hurricane Central page.
