Warmer and drier before a weekend cold front

The slow moving area of low pressure that has kept the chance for showers and storms around over the past few days will finally move away today. While a slim chance for a shower or storm will be possible mainly Inland, most locations will be dry. You can always track our rain on

! Temps will climb into the mid and upper 70s today and even low 80s.

As high pressure approaches for the end of the week, we'll see more sunshine and warmth! It will be much drier with temps maxing out in the upper 70s to mid 80s.

high pressure will slide off of the East Coast on Friday and weaken over the weekend. This will allow a cold front to come in for Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances will increase Inland on Friday and Saturday, with a slight chance satruday along the coast. Sunday's rain chances will be decreasing Inland but remain up along the Grand Strand. Highs will remain in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Once the cold front is through, cooler and drier conditions will move in for next week. Despite plenty of sunshine temps will struggle to reach the low 70s early next week,

Today: Mostly to partly sunny with a slight chance for a shower/storm inland. Highs-Mid/Upper 70s.

Tonight: Mostly clear and pleasant. Lows:Mid/Upper 50s.

Thursday:Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs-Grand Strand: Upper 70s, Inland: Low/Mid 80s
