Warm and windy with a chance for rain moving in late

Temps will finally rise above seasonal averages today despite seeing mostly cloudy skies. Look for area wide temps to hit the 60s. A warm front will lift through today bringing a slight chance for a few showers. The tailing cold front will drive through tonight bringing our best chance for rain overnight. Rain chances remain low during the day, but a few showers will remain possible. You can always track our rain on

! Once the front comes through overnight, cooler and drier air will push in bringing our temps back to the low to mid 50s Wednesday. Winds will be gusting over 30mph Wednesday as cold air surges into the area.

High pressure will return for end of the week and weekend bringing sunshine back and a gradual warm up. Temps will warm into the 60s area wide by the weekend.
