Very humid with a few storms possible

With a trough of low pressure over the east and high pressure off of the East Coast, a tropical airmass will stay with us through most of the week. Very warm and humid conditions stick around with the chance for showers and storms around the area, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours, through the end of the week. Wednesday and Thursday will have the best chances for rain during the work week. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app! Temps will reach the mid to upper 80s by the Coast with temps maxing around 90 Inland. Factor in the humidity and it will feel like the 90s area wide.

A disturbance that was Tropical Storm Dorian still shows the potential to redevelop into a tropical cyclone over the next two days. It is forecast to be near South Florida later this week, but from there the forecast gets uncertain. Get the latest thinking on T.S. Dorian at our Hurricane Central page.
