      Unseasonably cool, cloudy, breezy Wednesday

High pressure to our northwest and an area of low pressure off of the Carolina coast will keep the area quite cool, a bit cloudy and breezy. Northerly winds around 10-20 mph may gust to 25 mph at times. High temperatures will remain unseasonably cool as they struggle to reach the upper 60s. Wednesday will be much drier than Tuesday, but a few showers, mist or drizzle can't be ruled out at times. You can always track the rain on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!.

Thursday through the weekend high pressure will slowly erode away the clouds, relax the winds, and put an end to the chill. Temperatures will finally reach the mid 70s through the weekend.

A tropical wave in the Altantic is showing some potential for development over the next few days, but does not appear to pose an immediate threat to the US. Get the latest tropical updates during hurricane season at our Hurricane Central page.
