A front will remain stalled south of our area today increasing the rain chances with periods of heavy rain possible. Best chances for rain will be along and East of I-95 with the highest possibility being along the coast.. The front stalled to the South will slowly lift north over the next 2 days keeping a good chance for rain through the weekend, but temperatures will slowly be on the rise to the low/mid 80s. Summer warmth will return next week with only a few afternoon storms possible.
Tropical Storm Erin has formed far out in the Atlantic off of the African Coast. This will be in the Atlantic for quite some time as it is forecast to remain a Tropical Storm through the middle of next week in the Central Atlantic. A disturbance in the Caribbean is showing a high potential for development over the next 2 days. The Caribbean system is forecast to head into the Gulf of Mexico by the end of the week.
