Two tornadoes confimed in Robeson County

The National Weather Service has confirmed that two tornadoes touched down in Robeson County early Friday afternoon.

The first tornado touched down west of Pembroke with estimated winds of 70 mph. According to our Storm Chaser Gerard Jebaily, 4 homes were damaged off of Elrod Rd. One home had roof damage, with a broken canopy that appeared to have been ripped off its porch. Another house was either pushed or lifted off its foundation about 8 inches.

The second tornado touched down in St. Pauls with estimated winds of 80 mph. A camper was overturned and a shed destroyed.

No injuries were reported.
