Tropical Storm Bertha forms in the Atlantic

The second named storm of the 2014 hurricane season formed Thursday night in the Atlantic.

The National Hurricane Center said the storm's maximum sustained winds were near 45 mph.

It's centered about 175 miles East-Northeast of Barbados and is moving West-northwest at 20 mph.

A tropical storm warning has been issued for Barbados and Dominica. A tropical storm watch has been issued for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
