Summer-like heat returns
Thu, 03 Oct 2013 11:49:33 GMT — High pressure will continue to keep the area mostly sunny and dry as it settles off of the East Coast through Saturday. After comfortable Fall conditions the past few days, the ridge of high pressure will increase the heat and humidity through Saturday. High temps will reach the mid 80s along the Grand Strand and upper 80s Inland.
A cold front moves in Sunday to Monday and merges with a tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico. This will bring an increase in cloud cover along with the chance for rain Sunday into Tuesday. Tropical moisture will increase with the best chance for rain and storms on Monday.
