Summer heat returns, chance for rain remains

High pressure off of the East Coast combined with a front stalled out across the Carolinas will continue to pump tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. Rain chances will remain high Inland with a few showers and storms possible this afternoon and evening along the Grand Strand. You can always track the storms on

! The hunmidity will be up and temperatures will once again reach the mid to upper 80s area wide.

The front will washout through Tuesday and rain chances wil decrease heading into the middle of the week. The chance fro a few afternoon and evening storms will be around all week, more typical to what we see during the Summer. Temperatures will be on the rise to the upper 80s along the Grnad Strand and around 90° Inland.
