Still some clouds. Unseasonably cool and breezy Thursday

The area of low pressure off of the North Carolina coast will slowly drift Northward ovr the next few days. Thursday will still remain unseasonable cool, mostly cloudy and breezy. Northerly winds around 10-20 mph may gust to 25 mph at times. High temperatures will reach the low to mid 70s with warmer areas South and West seeing more sunshine. Conditions will remain dry for most of the area, but a brief area of mist or drizzle can't be ruled out in North Carolina. You can always track the rain on

Heading through the weekend the low will slowly push away and high pressure will build in. This will relax the winds, bring back a little more sunshine and warm up the afternoons. Temperatures will finally reach the mid to upper 70s through the weekend.
