Pleasant today but Summer-like heat coming
Tue, 14 May 2013 12:21:29 GMT — High pressure to our Northwest continues to funnel down som cool air across the East today. Plenty of sunshine area wide will help warm up the area after a chilly start. Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 70s. Clear skies tonight will lead to another cool night, but not as cold as this morning. Temperatures will drop to the low to mid 50s.
With the ridge of high pressure pushing off of the East Coast by the end of the week, the heat and humidity will be on the rise. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s along the Grand Strand and mid to upper 80s Inland. By Friday and through the weekend there will be a slight chance for a few afternoon pop up storms like those we see during the Summertime. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!
