A cold front will to our West will slowly move in late today and tonight. Ahead of the front, deep moisture remains in place increasing rain chances and scattered storms for today. it will also remain warm and very humid. While rain chances will be down through the middle of the week, there will still be a slight chance for an afternoon shower/storm.
Later this week we'll be monitoring a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico. Forecast models are showing some uncertainty with its development and the direction it will head. Rain chances do go up for our area by Thursday night into Friday and you can follow the latest on this disturbance at our Hurricane Central page.
