Thursday's cold front will stall South of the area Friday drying us out and bringing the temps back to the mid and upper 80s. This front will push back North Saturday to Sunday increasing the heat and humidity, and the slight chance for a few afternoon storms, mainly Sunday. A cold front will approach the area early next week increasing the rain chances for Labor Day and Tuesday.
A series of tropical waves extend across the Atlantic through Africa. These are not forecast to develop over the next 2 days, but warrant watching through the weekend.
