Nice start to the weekend. Unsettled Labor Day

Thursday's cold front will stall South of the area Friday drying us out and bringing the temps back to the mid and upper 80s. This front will push back North Saturday to Sunday increasing the heat and humidity, and the slight chance for a few afternoon storms, mainly Sunday. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!

A cold front will approach the area early next week increasing the rain chances for Labor Day and Tuesday.

A series of tropical waves extend across the Atlantic through Africa. These are not forecast to develop over the next 2 days, but warrant watching through the weekend. A wave moving off of Africa over the next day has the potential of tropical cyclone delopment. Get the latest tropical updates during hurricane season at our Hurricane Central page.
