More heat, humidity, few storms possible

Typical Summer weather will be moving in through the weekend thanks to high pressure setting up off of the East Coast. This will increase the heat and humidity along with the chance for a few afternoon and evening showers or storms. Best chances will be Inland. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app! Temps will reach the mid to upper 80s by the Coast with temps maxing in the lower 90s Inland.
An approaching cold front will stall out to our West increasing the chance for a few afternoon storms for the first half of next week.
A weak disturbance in the Caribbean is showing a minimal chance for development over the next few days, but the rest of the tropics are quiet. You can all of the latest on the tropics on our Hurricane Central page.
