More heat and humidity coming

High pressure continues to be the main player in our forecast keeping our area sunny and dry. The high push East increasing the heat and humidity from Wednesday into Saturday helping high temps into the lower to mid 80s along the Grand Strand and mid to upper 80s Inland.

A cold front moves in Sunday to Monday and merges with an area of low pressure coming out of the Gulf of Mexico. This will bring an increase in cloud cover along with the chance for rain Sunday into Tuesday. Tropical moisture will increase with the best chance for rain and storms on Monday. Tropical Storm Jerry remains in the Atlantic posing no threat to the East Coast. Another tropical wave in the Caribbean is showing signs of gaining organization over the next few days as it heads toward the Gulf of Mexico.
