The disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico hasn't not changed all that much over the last 24 hours, but conditions may be favorable for tropical development(40%) over the next day. Regardless of tropical development or not. rain chances increase late tonight and last into Friday as this disturbance heads toward the Southeast. 1-3" of rain possible depending on where the low heads, but high winds don't appear to be an issue.
