      Hot and muggy stretch continues

Another hot and humid Summer day is in store thanks to high pressure parked to our North. This high will keep a hot and humid forecast for the rest of the week. Temps will reach the upper 80s to mid 90s, but factor in the humidity and it will feel like the 100s for many locations. Most locations will be dry, but a few afternoon showers or storms will remain possible through the weekend. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!

A cold front will move in by the end of the weekend and stall out through mid next week. This will increase the chance for scattered showers and storms for Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will be down a few degrees from the previous days, but the humidity will stay high.

The tropics are quiet for now. Get the latest tropical updates during hurricane season at our Hurricane Central page.
