High temps go up, rain chances go down

After a lot of rainfall over the past few weeks, we'll finally start seeing drier conditions move back to the area. High pressure to our Northeast will build South. Rain chances will be much lower with only a slight chance for a shwoer or storm possible through mid week. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app! While rain chances will be decreasing, temperatures will be increaseing. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s along the Grand Strand and Inland areas will reach the lower 90s. The humidity will stay up so the heat index will top out around 100° every day this week.

The tropics are quiet for now. Get the latest tropical updates during hurricane season at our Hurricane Central page.
