Gorgeous and warm start to the week

High pressure will remain in control of our area for a few days keeping the area warm, dry, and sunny. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s Inland while a cool ocean breeze will keep the highs closer to the low to mid 70s along the coast. With the breeze picking up during the afternoon, temps will gradually fall along the coast into the mid 60s. Aside from a few clouds in the afternoons, we'll stay dry through Wednesday.

Thursday will see a few pop up thunderstorms in the afternoon, but our next chance for area wide rain will come in Friday. A cold front will move into the Carolinas bringing the chance for rain and storms.
