Gabrielle regains Tropical Storm strength

After losing strength over the past 24 hours and being downgraded to a Tropical Depression, Gabrielle has shown signs of re-strengthening and has been upgraded again to a Tropical Storm. Despite the re-strengthening, Tropical Storm Gabrielle poses no threat to the Carolinas or East Coast.

The storm's maximum sustained winds Thursday are near 40 mph (35 kph).

The storm is centered about 200 miles (325 kilometers) Northwest of Bermuda and is moving North near 8 mph (7 kph).
