With temperatures forecast to drop into the low to mid 30s overnight, a Freeze Warning has been issued for Inland Horry, Florence, Marion, Darlington, Dillon, Marlboro, Clarendon, Lee, Sumter, Lee, and Chesterfield counties in South Carolina and Robeson, Bladen, and Columbus counties in North Carolina.
The warning will go in effect at 5am Wednesday morning and last until 9am. During this time temperautres are forecast to be around or below freezing for several hours. This could potentially have impacts on sensitive vegetation, field crops that may be blooming and budding, as well as plants or bushes. Take necessary precautions to protect them.
Also make sure you bring you pets inside or give them a warm place to stay to get out of the cold. They get cold just like you and I. Make sure you check on their water that it has not frozen over.
