Few showers and storms, very hot and humid

Despite a weak cold front approaching Thursday, temps will soar into the mid/upper 80s to low 90s. With muggy conditions heat index values will top around 100. The cold front will bring in a chance for scatttered showers and storms mainly in the afternoon. You can always track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!

The front will stall South of the area Friday drying us out and bringing the temps back to the mid and upper 80s. Over the weekend, high pressure will build back in from the Atlantic increasing the heat, humidity, and chance for afternoon storms.

A wave moving off of Africa over the next day has the potential of tropical cyclone delopment. Get the latest tropical updates during hurricane season at our Hurricane Central page.
