Cooler start to the week
Mon, 13 May 2013 12:36:05 GMT —
High pressure building South out of Canada will supply a big cool down across the East to start the week. We'll see a good deal of sunshine and a few clouds Monday and Tuesday, but temperatures will struggle to reach the low 70s both days. Monday night into Tuesday morning will be knocking on record low temperatures. Under clear skies, temperatures will drop to the mid and upper 40s.
High pressure will push off of the East Coast for the middle and end of the week. Mostly sunny to partly sunny skies will remain around and temperatures will be back on the rise. Look for highs in the low to mid 80s with a little more humidity. By Friday and through the weekend we may see a few afternoon pop up storms.
Today: Morning clouds give way to mostly sunny skies. Mild & Breezy Highs-Low 70s
Tonight: Clear and chilly. Lows:Mid/Upper 40s.
Tuesday:Mostly sunny and mild. Highs-Low/mid 70s.
