Cloudy with rain moving in. Drier, cooler weekend
Fri, 01 Nov 2013 12:20:00 GMT —
A cold front moving into the Carolinas Friday will increase the rain chances and even bring a few storms in with it. A few showers will pass by during the day, but the best chance for Inland areas will occur this afternoon and late evening. For the Grand Strand look for the rain chances to ramp up later this evening and through the late night. You can always track the rain on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app. Friday will still be warm with highs around 80. The cold front moves through early Saturday taking the rain and clouds along with it. Temperatures will still reach the mid 70s for Saturday afternoon.
High prssure will build in behind the front ushering in colder air. Look for a big drop in temperatures from Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Lows will reach the low/mid 40s on Sunday morning and temperatures will barely reach the mid 60s Sunday afternoon despite full sunshine. Monday morning temps will drop into the upper 30s Inland and low 40s near the beaches. Once again temperatures will struggle to reach the mid 60s.
