Cloudy, cooler today. Rain moving in

After a gorgeous Sunday, clouds will overspread the area today keeping the area much cooler, especially inland. Rain chances remain low through early afternoon, but increase this evening and overnight. A warm front to our South will push overhead tonight bringing periods of heavy rain and windy conditions. Tuesday afternoon/evening a cold front will work through the area keeping the chance for rain in the forecast and increase the threat for a few strong storms. We have a slight risk of severe storms with damaging wind gusts being the priamry threat. You can always track our rain on

High pressure will return for Wednesday bringing sunshine back. Temps will warm into the 60s area wide Wednesday, but gradually cooling to the low 50s by the end of the week.

Today: Mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler. Rain chances increase.. Highs-Low/Mid 50s.

Tonight:Periods of rain, heavy at times. Lows: Grand Strand: Mid 40s, Inland: Low 40s.

Tuesday: Periods of rain, heavy at times, and even a few afternoon/evening storms otherwise mostly cloudy and mild. Highs- Low/Mid 60s.
