Clouds hang around. Warmer by mid week

Low pressure sits off of the South Carolina coast and continues to drift south. This low will wrap a decent amount of cloud cover across the area Monady into early Tuesday with a few showers or even some drizzle possible. You can always track the rain on

. Most locatioans will remain dry. High temperatures will reach the low to mid 70s with warmer areas South and West seeing more sunshine. Conditions will remain dry for most of the area, but a brief area of mist or drizzle can't be ruled out.

Over the next few days the low will slowly push away finally and high pressure will build in. This brings more sunshine and warmth back to thea rea through the end of the week. A slow moving cold front will move in late Thursday into Friday with a chance for showers. Highs will warm into mid to upper 70s through the middle of the week then around 80 by weeks end.
