      Another chance for rain and storms today

      A cold front will gradually push South of the area late this afternoon into the evening. Several disturbances moving along the front will keep the chance for periodic showers and storms in the forecast today with the best chance for rain staying East of I-95 for the afternoon. Drier conditions will move in toward the evening from West to East. Temps will max out int the low to mid 80s.

      The cold front will stall off of the East Coast for a few days keeping the deep moisture just offshore. Most areas will remain dry but clouds will linger around and stray shower or two may get pulled back on shore. Thursday will be drier with a little more sunshine. Temps will remain in the mid 80s area wide Thursday before warming back to the mid to upper 80s heading to the start of the weekend.

      Tropical Depression #2 will move from the Bay of Campeche into Mexico today and may strengthen into Tropical Storm Barry before making landfall. It poses no threat to the US. Get the latest tropical updates during hurricane season at our Hurricane Central page.
