A little drier, but still warm and humid

High pressure to our East will keep the humidity up and the chance for a few showers and storms in the forecast for today. There is a better chance for widely scattered showers and storms Inland today moreso than the Grand Strand. Slow moving storms can produce ponding on roads and increase concerns for localized flooding. A cold front approaching tomorrow will move through by early Friday morning. Canadian high pressure builds in late Friday and remains through the weekend.Sunshine will return in full force and the humidity will be much lower. Afternoon temps will hit the low 80s Friday. Weekend temps will max out int the upper 70s/low 80s and wake up temps will be down in the low to mid 50s! The nice weather will even stick around into Memorial Day.
