8pm 10-8-17: Nate continues to weaken, likely post-tropical or remnant low by tomorrow
As of 8pm Sunday, Nate was still maintaining tropical depression status with 35 mph maximum sustained wind. The storm is continuously weakening and will likely become a post-tropical cyclone or remnant low by tomorrow.
We are not getting any local impacts but wind, rain, and severe weather is impacting western portions of the Carolinas. However, tropical moisture will keep rain chances in the forecast through the middle of the week.
