Madeline Montgomery is a multi-media journalist and fill-in anchor at ABC 15 News in Myrtle Beach. She joined the ABC 15 News team in July 2017 and has covered everything from Hurricane Irma to gun laws.

Madeline previously reported and anchored at KRBC in Abilene, Texas. In Texas, Madeline interviewed congressmen, covered the local Air Force base, and rode in a hot air balloon. Her story about a rattlesnake found in a toilet got national attention.

Madeline graduated from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and New Media. She minored in Political Science.

Madeline is an Atlanta native whose parents are excited to have her closer to home (so that they can stay at her beach house.)

Madeline has a twin brother who is a teacher in South Korea.

She also has two cats and everyone accuses her of being a cat lady.
