Tanner English enrolls in classes at USC

Tanner English still has not made up his mind on professional baseball or college, but he's going to get the college experience no matter what. English enrolled in summer classes on Tuesday at South Carolina. While this can be considered a sign that the all-state centerfielder from Saint James will be playing for the Gamecocks next season, he still has until August 15th to sign a professional baseball contract with the Tampa Bay Rays. Tampa selected English in the 13th round of June's MLB Amateur Draft and we spoke with him right after the big moment and the decision he had to make:

The other part of that article, Shon Carson, told WPDE Sports that he will not pursue professional baseball at this time and is definitely attending South Carolina to play both football and baseball. Carson's scholarship is in football, and he will walk on to play for Ray Tanner's team:
