Ellington is 4th Gamecock to declare for NFL Draft

Bruce Ellington accounted for 3 TD's in the Gamecocks Capital One Bowl victory.

South Carolina Gamecocks wide receiver Bruce Ellington has announced that he will enter the NFL Draft. He is the fourth player on this year's Gamecocks team to leave the school early and declare for the NFL, joining Darlington's Victor Hampton, Jadeveon Clowney, and Kelcy Quarles.

The Ellington announcement is a big blow to the South Carolina basketball team. Ellington has also ended his career as starting point guard for the Gamecocks.

Ellington capped off his college football career with six catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns in the Capital One Bowl. He also threw a TD pass in South Carolina's 34-24 victory over Wisconsin.

Ellington graduated from South Carolina in December. The 5'9" 195 pound wide receiver will now prepare for the NFL Combine.
