Clowney wins ESPY for Best Play

South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney's ferocious hit on Michigan's Vincent Davis in the Outback Bowl won the ESPY for Best Play. Clowney accepted the award in Los Angeles after Olympic gymnast Gabbie Douglas and LA Dodgers rookie Yasiel Puig presented. The award was based on fan voting online.

"This is a blessing to be up here man," Clowney said in his acceptance speech. "I just want to thank God, my family and friends, my teammates and everyone who voted for me." Clowney flew to Los Angeles on Wednesday morning after attending SEC Media Days the previous day. He took a number of pictures on the red carpet, including NBA MVP LeBron James (courtesy Gamecocks Online)
