      Darlington Raceway has a new President

      Darlington Raceway is under new management.
      From International Speedway Corporation: CHIP WILE NAMED PRESIDENT OF DARLINGTON RACEWAY DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. â?? August 22, 2013 â?? International Speedway Corporation ("ISC") today announced that it has named Chip Wile as President of Darlington Raceway (â??DARâ??) effective immediately. Wile accepts the role from his most recent position as Director of Business Development for the Motor Racing Network (â??MRNâ??). Current DAR President, Chris Browning, has resigned to pursue other career opportunities.

      Wile joined MRN in 2012, bringing with him over a decade of experience in the motorsports industry servicing partners such as Caterpillar, Verizon, Exide Technologies, and Dollar General. His responsibilities at MRN included developing and overseeing new business opportunities; acting as the network's primary liaison to ISCâ??s sponsors and integrated media sales; directing MRNâ??s overall marketing and promotional efforts; and managing its annual budget. Wile received his bachelorâ??s degree in communications from the University of Georgia.
