Conway's Skipper stays unbeaten in MMA

Marvin Skipper is now 2-0 as a professional MMA fighter.

Conway's Marvin Skipper choked out Camden's John Richard on Friday night to win the second professional MMA fight of his career.

Skipper put the submission hold on Richard at 4:07 in round two to score the victory in a 205 pound match at Warfare 9 in North Myrtle Beach.

Skipper, a 7-time jiu jitsu state champion who can bench press more than 500 pounds, has never lost an MMA bout as either an amateur or as a pro.

In the main event, former UFC fighter Rodney "Sho Nuff" Wallace (17-6) out of Charlotte scored a first round knockout against Aaron "Tex" Johnson to win the WFC Light Heavyweight World Championship.
