Seahawks star Orcutt makes college football commitment

Myrtle Beach Seahawks linebacker and tight end Sean Michael Orcutt has given his verbal commitment to play at Limestone College, according to his high school head coach Mickey Wilson.

Limestone College is located in Gaffney, South Carolina. The school is adding football beginning in 2014. The Saints will have one full year to gather recruits and practice before starting their first season. Limestone is the fourth Division II school in the state along with North Greenville, Benedict and Newberry.

Orcutt is a 2012 WPDE All-Zone football selection. He had 140 tackles his senior season, including four tackles for loss, two interceptions and four fumble recoveries. From his tight end position, Orcutt had four touchdown receptions, and averaged 19.2 yards a grab.

The 6'1" 180 pound Orcutt will likely play either outside linebacker or strong safety at Limestone, according to coach Wilson.
