CCU set for home finale against PC

Coastal Carolina has its final home game of 2011 when the Presbyterian Blue Hose comes to Brooks Stadium and Benton field. Kickoff is set for Saturday night at 6pm. The Chanticleers are trying to bounce back following a 42-0 loss to Stony Brook last Saturday night in Long Island, NY. Coastal is in the midst of a three game losing streak.

Head coach David Bennett says that his team has had three strong days of practice this week and is happy with his team's resilience following a nightmare road trip. The mix of biting wind, driving rain and cold temperatures took its toll on the team throughout the game. Following the loss, Coastal was unable to fly out of Long Island after the game, sitting on the tarmac for nearly four hours. The team scrambled to a hotel and got a few hours of sleep before finally getting back to South Carolina on early Sunday afternoon.
