Former Dillon QB dismissed from Coastal Carolina

Conway, SC - Former Dillon quarterback Avery McCall has been dismissed from the Coastal Carolina Football program. School officials tell ABC 15 sports that McCall quote, "for not living up to his responsibilities associated with "BAM".

McCall led Dillon to several state titles. He was a highly recruited quarterback with looks from several power 5 schools. He committed to CCU in September of his senior year, then signed with the Chants in February of 2016.

He played in two games for CCU, rushing 6 times for 2 yards, passing twice for 56 yards. McCall was a former Zoneman winner, grabbing the hardware after the 2014 season.
