Missouri women upset defending national champion Gamecocks

The #15 Missouri Tigers upset the #4 South Carolina Gamecocks 83-74 in women's college basketball on Sunday afternoon in Columbia, Missouri.

Gamecocks All-American A'ja Wilson was held to just eight points before fouling out, and head coach Dawn Staley was ejected after being called for a second technical foul late in the contest.

Sophie Cunningham scored a game-high 27 points to lead Mizzou.

South Carolina falls to 13-2 overall, 2-1 in the SEC.

Missouri improves to 14-2 overall, 2-1 in the SEC.
