West Florence's Behr wins state crown

West Florence's Stephen Behr shot a -2 under par 70 to get medalist honors at the class 4A golf state championships at Furman University. Behr entered the day four shots off the individual lead in second place. He started the day on the back nin and birdied the 7th hole to get to -2 under par. He completed his round with a pair of gutsy par saving putts on #8 and #9. Behr's steady round helped him cruise to a six shot win - a ten shot swing by the end of the day.

Blythewood won the class 4A team title. West Florence finished in 10th place
