      Waccamaw shatters Zone Cup record

The Waccamaw Warriors continued its dominance in WPDE's Zone Cup, winning the all-sports competition with a record setting performance. The Warriors scored 700 points to win its 6th WPDE Zone Cup in nine years. Points are awarded based on performance in every varsity sport. The Warriors had three teams that reached the state finals and a staggering seven additional squads that were state semifinalists. Twenty Waccamaw teams reached post-season play and scored points.
