Stratford's Jacob Park wins SC Mr. Football

Stratford QB Jacob Park has been named South Carolina Mr. Football.

Stratford quarterback Jacob Park won South Carolina's 2013 Mister Football Award which was presented at halftime of the 65th annual North-South All-Star game in Myrtle Beach. The future Georgia Bulldog, who threw for 3,665 yards and 33 TD passes admitted he was shocked that he won the award after losing in the 4A state championship to Northwestern and fellow Mr. Football Finalist Mason Rudolph who threw for 8 TD passes in the game.

Park and Rudolph were joined by Latta offensive lineman Donell Stanley and Daniel running back Jaeâ??lon Oglesby. A fifth finalist, Christian Miller of Spring Valley did not attend the ceremony. All five finalists were selected to play in next week's Shrine Bowl for South Carolina. Miller will not play due to injury. Park will play in the US Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio in January along with Stanley.
