South Florence dominates Ridge View to get to 6-0

      Nick Jones had two touchdown passes and a scoring run and Tyrek Malachi had a pair of pick six touchdowns on defense as South Florence dominated Ridge View 44-7 on Thursday night. The Bruins impoved to 6-0 on the season and have scored 40 or more points in all six of their victories.

      The Bruins went right to work as Jones fired a 9 yard TD pass to Tyquan Johnson early in the first quarter to open the scoring. Austin Stephenson booted a 23 yard field goal to give South Florence a 10-0 lead a the end of one quarter. Jones completed his 18th TD pass of the season when he found Tabari Hines to make it a 24-0 game.

      Malachi had a 45 yard interception for a score late in the second quarter and closed out the scoring with his second pick six of the game on a 35 yard INT return. South Florence opens region play next week with a home game against Sumter.
